History
Igralka Berta Bukšek se je rodila 3. julija 1879 v Ljubljani. Prvotno, od leta 1898, je bila v Deželnem gledališču v Ljubljani zborovska pevka, operna šepetalka in občasno igralka. V desetih letih se je razvila v izvrstno interpretko operetnih in komičnih dramskih vlog. Tako je odšla v Maribor ob ustanovitvi mariborskega gledališča leta 1919 kot izkušena in izoblikovana igralka. Prav zato je kmalu postala vodilna karakterna igralka tega gledališča, predvsem pa je nastopila v večini vodilnih ali naslovnih vlog v prvih uprizoritvah del slovenskih avtorjev.- Umrla je 27. oktobra 1929 v Mariboru.
